My name is Todd. I started teaching because of my love of traveling and learning about other people's cultures. I was born in Cincinnati, OH. So if you study with me, you would be learning English from a Native-English speaker. I graduated from the International TEFL Academy where I earned my certification to teach English as a foreign language. In addition to Teaching, I am also an Artist. I love to paint and draw. I use these skills in my lessons. I enjoy the creativity of designing exercises and activities. It is my belief that the more senses that are involved in the learning process; the more English will be understood and easily grasped.

I’m Kevin Palmer. in 2002, at my first teaching job, I had a student named Ning. Ning was wonderful. She was intelligent, friendly, and she worked hard. Every day she studied English textbooks for 4 hours! She tried to remember 50 new vocabulary words every day! But, after 6 months of hard work, she still could not speak. Sadly, this was true for all of the students in the class. I felt terrible. So I asked other teachers for help. But they had the same problem.. very few of their students improved either. That’s when I realized something was wrong– something is wrong with normal English teaching methods. I wanted to help all of the happy, friendly, intelligent, wonderful students like Ning– and I decided I would find an answer. I would find a way to help my students speak English powerfully. I then spent many years as a Business Analyst with a major insurance company working both on an organisation-wide transformation program and later as part of projects to bring new services online, before finally working as a manager to help establish the newly established customer contact centre.
